Our Story

Gentry's Hair Studio was founded in 2018 by Melody Gentry, who has always been passionate about helping others feel confident and beautiful. The studio started out as a small space, but it quickly became a welcoming and relaxing environment for clients seeking high-quality hair and spa services. In 2019, the studio relocated to a larger space in downtown Shawnee, allowing us to expand our team of stylists and offer even more services to our clients.

Meet Our Team

At Gentry's Hair Studio, we believe that our team is what sets us apart. Each of our stylists and technicians is highly trained and experienced, with a passion for making others feel their best.

• Melody Gentry: Founder, Owner, and Stylist. With over 19 years of experience in the industry, Melody is dedicated to helping each client find the best way to bring their inner vision to life. She is a licensed cosmetologist, barber, and master instructor.
• Jesha Woodul: Stylist. With over 17 years of experience, Jesha is known for her creative flair and attention to detail. She brings compassion and caring to every client, new or existing.
• Dawna McGehee: Nail Tech, Lash Tech, and Cosmetologist. Dawna has a fresh approach to each service, and her creative eye makes every client look and feel unique.
• Morgan McCann: Nail Tech. With over 7 years of experience, Morgan is a nail artist who takes pride in her attention to detail and caring personality. She works by appointment only, allowing her to give each client the time and attention they deserve.
