B.K. Burgess Inc. is a family-owned and operated construction company that has been proudly serving the Deer Isle and Blue Hill Peninsula areas for over 20 years. Founded by Brian Burgess, who grew up in the hardworking fishing community of Stonington, Maine, the company has been building solid structures and strong relationships in the community for a quarter of a century.

Panelize Your Project

One of the ways we ensure that our projects are completed on time and within budget is by panelizing them. This process involves building the walls, roofs, and other components of a structure in our shop, which allows us to continue working on the project even in harsh winter weather. Once the components are complete, we use our crane truck to deliver them to the job site, where they can be quickly assembled. This method not only helps us keep the project on schedule but also reduces waste and improves overall quality.

Shore Lots

If you're looking for a beautiful location to build your dream home, we have several shore lots available in Deer Isle and Brooklin, Maine. The Benjamin River Cottages Subdivision is a peaceful and secluded community located on 18.3 acres of land with over 1300 feet of shorefront. The subdivision includes four shorefront parcels and two interior parcels, all of which have a right of way to the shore. Prices start at $49,900 and include subdivision road and power line. The lots are surveyed and soil-tested for up to three-bedroom homes, with water provided by private wells.
