Our Story

From humble beginnings sweeping floors as a teenager to sweeping clients off their feet with their custom cabinets, our founder Rick Kalem has taken designing cabinets to another level. His uncle, Rex, emigrated from Greece and worked alongside his relative, Steve, at a small cabinet shop in 1960. Despite facing challenges and ridicule, Rex worked hard to hone his skills and became a master cabinetmaker. Rick brings more than 50 years of design and cabinetry experience to our company, ensuring that each client receives superior quality and value.

Workshop and Location

We are located in a 10,000 sq. ft. facility at 3420 San Leandro Street, Oakland, California. Our state-of-the-art workshop and showroom are designed to provide our clients with an immersive experience, showcasing the quality of our products. Our dedicated staff is always available to guide you through the process of designing and building your custom cabinets.
