Our Commitment to Excellence

At 5 Star Security Services, Inc., we are committed to excellence in everything we do. Our security employees undergo rigorous training from the Professional Security Training Network in their areas of expertise, in addition to the training mandated by the State of Texas. Our private officers who are armed receive further training in firearms safety, and patrol officers must complete our driver safety course every six months. We believe in recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance and job safety, which is why we have a high rate of employee retention and employee loyalty.

Our team is led by D. R. Dickerson, a licensed manager with over 25 years of experience in Texas law enforcement. Mr. Dickerson holds a B.A.A.S. degree in Criminal Justice from Dallas Baptist University and is a Certified Crime Prevention Inspector with the Texas Commission On Law Enforcement Standards and Education. He is also an honorably retired police detective and holds an active Master level Texas peace officer license.
