Our Mission

Starling School Inc. is dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive. Founded in 1974 in St. Petersburg, Florida, our school has been a cornerstone of the community, offering quality childcare and preschool education to generations of children. We strive to create a space where children feel loved, supported, and empowered to explore their full potential.

Programs Tailored to Growth

Starling School caters to children from infancy through twelve years of age, offering a range of programs designed to meet the diverse needs of each age group. Our experienced and dedicated early learning program is built on a comprehensive curriculum that seamlessly integrates research-based skills into playful activities and engaging projects. Through imaginative play, hands-on experiences, and enriching interactions, children develop essential cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills.

Our toddler program emphasizes responsive care and sensory learning, creating a secure and nurturing environment where toddlers can explore, discover, and build strong foundations for future learning. We prioritize building positive relationships with each child, fostering their self-expression and emotional intelligence.

For preschool-aged children, we offer a thematic approach to learning, exploring a new and exciting theme each month. Every week begins with a captivating storybook, igniting a love for reading and fostering literacy skills. These stories serve as springboards for imaginative play, art projects, music activities, and math games, enriching the children's understanding and expanding their vocabulary.

We also offer a specialized Pre-Kindergarten program, designed to prepare four and five-year-olds for the transition to kindergarten. This program provides a structured and engaging learning environment, focusing on academic readiness, social skills, and emotional development.
