Our Story

New Investors Real Estate was founded in 1977 by Newton D. Thompson Sr. in New Iberia, LA. With a passion for helping families achieve their dream of homeownership, Mr. Thompson began selling homes to the parents of his students, and later to his former students as his reputation grew in the community. In 2000, we expanded to Baton Rouge, primarily focused on selling HUD Homes, managed by his son, Newton D. Thompson Jr. Today, we are a full-service, veteran and minority-owned business operating with two South Louisiana offices, one in Baton Rouge and the other in New Iberia, servicing the Greater Lafayette Area.
