Genesis Land & Waterscapes is a leading provider of professional landscaping, water features, and xeriscape designs and construction in Durango, Colorado and the Four Corners area. Since our establishment in 2003, we have been dedicated to enhancing the beauty and functionality of our clients' outdoor spaces. Our mission is to partner with our clients to realize their dream landscape, to construct landscapes that stand the test of time, and make the earth better than how we found it.

• Professional Landscape Design, Construction and Maintenance: Our team of experienced landscapers will work closely with you to design and create a beautiful and functional outdoor space that meets your needs and exceeds your expectations. We also offer ongoing maintenance services to ensure that your landscape stays in top condition.
• Hardscape Experts: We specialize in the design and construction of custom patios, stairs, pathways, and retaining walls. Our team of hardscape experts will work with you to create a clean, modern landscape that complements your home and meets your needs.
• Water Feature Specialists: Our team of experienced water feature specialists can design and install custom ponds, waterfalls, streambeds, fountains, and more. We believe that the element of water within a landscape can provide a daily opportunity to slow down and appreciate life, as well as integral habitat replacement which is helpful for our arid ecosystem.
• Native, Xeric Landscapes: We understand the importance of water conservation in many of our local environments. Our team of experts can design and install a beautiful xeriscape that features a variety of trees, plants, and xeric ground covers to replace those weeds and lawn. Xeriscapes are often the lowest maintenance landscapes.
• Rock Art and Crevice Gardens: Our team of artists specializes in imagining and creating different forms of rock. We have built free-standing stone arches, rock cairns, flagstone spheres, large totems, wood and stone mixed structures, and many utilitarian items such as tables, benches, and even bike racks.

Our Team

Genesis Land & Waterscapes is led by Chad White, who received his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Conservation from Northern Michigan University. Chad has extensive and diverse experience in a number of fields over the past 28 years, which contributes to his ability to offer novel and intelligent solutions, as well as holistic designs. He has experience with electrical, plumbing, working in Tree Farms, Sod Farms, Nurseries, and in Landscape Construction.
