Our team of board-certified gynecologists, led by Dr. Christine Roberts and Dr. Amy King, have been serving the Grand Strand community for over two decades. Our Story

Dr. Roberts and Dr. King are dedicated professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. With a focus on preventive medicine and wellness, we believe that women's health is of the utmost importance. Our Direct Pay model allows patients to pay directly for their care, eliminating the complexities of insurance billing and giving our patients a direct, unhindered interaction with their physician. This approach enables us to focus on patient care, incorporating our passion for wellness into every aspect of our practice.

Our Practitioners

Our team of practitioners is dedicated to providing the highest level of care to our patients. Our team members, including Dr. Roberts and Dr. King, are board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology with many years of experience. Our team also includes Shelly Smith, L.E., Tammy Skipper, M.A., Candy Kovarsky, L.E., and Lindsay Hickman, R.N., who bring their expertise and passion for women's health to our practice.

Our Services

At Gynecology Specialists, we offer a wide range of services to meet the unique needs of our patients. Our gynecologic preventive services include annual exams, Pap smears, breast and colon cancer screenings, and more. We also provide consultation services for issues such as abnormal Pap smears, contraception, endometriosis, fertility, menopause and transition, menstrual disorders, PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome), pelvic pain, pelvic support problems, premenstrual disorders, and urinary incontinence.

Direct Pay Pricing

We believe that transparency is key to building trust with our patients. That's why we offer fixed pricing for all of our services. Our pricing includes:

• New patient annual gynecologic visit: $225
• Established annual gynecologic visit: $175
• Gynecologic problem visit: $75-$125
• Gynecologic follow-up visit: $50
• Gynecologic procedures: $125-$250
