Byrdie's

Byrdie's Pottery is a non-profit community ceramics studio located in the Marigny neighborhood of New Orleans. Our mission is to provide equitable access to ceramic arts, offering educational programming, and creating a platform for makers to share their work. We believe that ceramics arts can bring people together, foster creativity, and provide a sense of community.

Our Services

At Byrdie's Pottery, we offer a variety of services to the community. Our studio provides a welcoming space for artists and non-artists alike to explore their creative side. We offer classes for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced, and provide guidance and support to our students. Our experienced instructors are passionate about ceramics and are dedicated to helping you achieve your artistic goals.

We also offer membership options that provide unlimited access to our studio, equipment, and glazes. Our membership program is designed to support artists who want to take their craft to the next level.

In addition to classes and membership, we also have a storefront shop where artists can sell their handmade ceramic creations. Our shop features a wide range of items, from functional wares like plates and bowls to decorative pieces like sculptures and wall art.

Community Commitment

At Byrdie's Pottery, we believe that art and community go hand in hand. That's why we make it a priority to give back to the community. We donate 20% of our sales revenue each month to a different local organization that supports social justice, harm reduction, and/or equity work. We believe that by supporting these organizations, we can create a more just and equitable society.
