We are thrilled to announce that B8 Theatre Company has finally found a new home at the Campbell Theatre in Martinez. This delightful 120-seat theatre comes equipped with a full bar for drinks and snacks, and is conveniently located near several excellent restaurants. We are proud to be co-producing the From the Page to the Stage One Act Festival with OnStage Theatre Company from July 12 to 28, 2024. This exciting event will showcase four short plays, each with its unique story and message.
In the fall, we invite you to join us for a series of staged readings, featuring full-length new works. These readings provide a valuable opportunity for us to gather feedback from our audience, helping us determine which plays to consider for future full productions. Speaking of full productions, we are excited to share that B8 Theatre Company has been given a time slot for a play at the Campbell Theatre in 2025. We are grateful to the Campbell for finding space for us in their busy schedule of events and look forward to sharing more information about our upcoming productions.
In the meantime, we encourage you to secure your tickets for the From the Page to the Stage One Act Festival. For a sneak peek at each of the four short plays we are contributing to the festival, read on:
- Good Morning, Miriam by Jacquelyn Priskorn, directed by JanLee Marshall
- Lighted Fools by Bridget Grace Sheaff, directed by Annie Potter
- The Female Gaze, by Christine Benvenuto, directed by Alan Cameron
