The Edge Pilates-Aerial Arts is a unique fitness studio located in the heart of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Established in 2011, we are the first studio of our kind in the area, dedicated to helping individuals of all ages, sizes, and physical abilities experience the joy of movement. Our mission is to provide a welcoming environment where people can de-stress from their hectic schedules and strengthen their bodies using evidence-based physical fitness practices.

Our studio offers a wide variety of mind-body activities, including pilates, aerial arts, pole fitness, and youth aerial classes. We take particular pride in our programs for beginning students, including children, athletes, seniors, and people in need of physical and mental healing. Our team of skilled, certified teachers is committed to guiding you on your mind-body journey, no matter where you are starting from.

Our instructors are highly trained and experienced to help guide you on your mind-body journey. Our team includes:

  • Mindy D'Angelo: Pilates and Aerial Instructor; Director of Youth Programming
  • Chloe Vance: Aerial Instructor

  • Sara Wagganer: Aerial & Pilates Instructor

Our founder, Lauren Jones, has an extensive background in the performing arts, business, and fitness. She has traveled the world as a high fashion print and runway model and has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry. Lauren is a vested member of SAG-AFTRA and has appeared in over 25 national television commercials, industrial films, and infomercials. She is also an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 200 hour) with over 2500 teaching hours and is a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP).

We also offer private massage therapy sessions, workshops, and teacher trainings to help you deepen your mind-body practice.
