Baldwin Eye Clinic has been a trusted provider of eye care services in Baldwin County since 1974. With two convenient locations in Daphne and Bay Minette, we are dedicated to serving the visual needs of our community. Our Services

At Baldwin Eye Clinic, we offer a wide range of services to meet the needs of our patients. Our comprehensive eye examinations are designed to detect any eye health issues and provide you with a detailed prescription for glasses or contact lenses. We carry a wide selection of glasses and contact lenses to fit your needs and style. Our one hour optical service, available at our Daphne location, allows you to get new glasses while you wait.

In addition to eye examinations and eyewear, we also offer diagnosis, treatment, and management of eye diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. We provide cataract co-management and laser vision correction, including LASIK and PRK. Our team of experienced eye care professionals is committed to providing you with the best possible care using up-to-date technology.

Our History

Baldwin Eye Clinic was started in Bay Minette in 1974 by Dr. Bernard Scott, a graduate of the first class to graduate the UAB/Medical Center School of Optometry. Over the years, the clinic has expanded to include Dr. Adcock, Dr. Dunagan, and Dr. McGowin. Our doctors are active members of the local community and have been serving patients in Baldwin County for over 40 years.

Meet Our Doctors

Our team of experienced doctors is dedicated to providing compassionate and expert eye care.

• Dr. Adcock is a native of Baldwin County who has been practicing since 1979. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and his doctor of Optometry degree from the UAB/Medical Center School of Optometry. Dr. Adcock has served on the Board of Directors for Vision America and has been heavily involved in LASIK co-management for the past ten years.
• Dr. Dunagan, a native of Bay Minette, is a 1996 graduate of the UAB School of Optometry. She joined Baldwin Eye Clinic in 2001 and enjoys practicing at both the Daphne and Bay Minette locations. Dr. Dunagan is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Alabama Optometric Association. She is a past board member of the ALOA and a past president of the Gulf Optometric Zone.
• Dr. Hoercher is a resident of UAB and has been practicing since 2003. She has experience in providing patient care at Baldwin Eye Clinic and private practice in Prattville, Alabama. She relocated to Poarch Creek to provide optometric services 12 years ago.
