At Gentle Dental Care, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality dental services in a warm, welcoming environment. Our team, led by Dr. LeRoy Weathersby II, is committed to helping our patients achieve optimal oral health and a beautiful smile that enhances their overall well-being.

Dr. Weathersby, a graduate of Fisk University with a B.S. in Chemistry, received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1982 from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in Chicago, Illinois. After gaining experience in several offices, he opened his private practice in Hazel Crest, Illinois in 1989. Dr. Weathersby is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society, and has held leadership positions in the South Suburban Branch of the Chicago Dental Society. He continuously updates his knowledge and skills by attending numerous continuing education classes throughout the year.

Sheryl, our office manager, oversees patient relations and is available to answer any questions you may have about treatment and finances. Her goal is to ensure that each patient has a positive experience at our office.

Our Services

Our general dentistry services include routine check-ups, cleanings, fillings, and more. We also offer a variety of cosmetic treatments, such as whitening and bleaching, veneers, and bonding and white fillings, to help you achieve the smile you've always wanted.

For patients requiring more specialized care, we provide periodontic services including scaling and root planning, occlusal adjustment, and periodontal splinting. Our endodontic services include root canal therapy, and we also offer pediatric sealants and dental hygiene and periodontal health services.

In addition, we utilize the latest technology in dentistry, including Panorex digital X-ray, oral cancer screenings, rotary endodontics, and electric handpieces, to ensure that our patients receive the most effective and efficient treatments available.
