Canterbury Counseling is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that aims to create a community where everyone experiences life with healthy minds, spirits, and bodies. Our dedicated team of licensed clinicians provides compassionate client-centered counseling, integrating the wisdom of faith teachings and the principles of behavioral sciences. We are committed to making our services financially accessible, with most insurance companies and Medicare plans accepted on a case-by-case basis and sliding-scale payment options based on income and family size.

Our Team

Our professional staff is here to listen, reflect, and guide you through the struggles of life's journey. With advanced training in various areas, our team is equipped to provide client-centered care tailored to your story. Our services include parenting support, marriage & family counseling, depression, anxiety, grief, stress, addiction & recovery support, and more. We also offer supervision for interns seeking licensure as counselors.

Mollie Murphy, our Executive Director, and Interim Clinical Director, embodies our mission by employing an attachment and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)-centered approach, which emphasizes understanding ourselves to care for ourselves effectively. Mollie specializes in working with adults aged 18-50 and holds certifications as a Licensed Professional Counselor & Supervisor, and EMDR.
