Lane Funeral Home's foundation stems from the vision of Robert Lane, Sr., who established the business with his wife Ruth in 1948. His dedication to serving families with empathy and professionalism was passed down to his sons, Robert T. Lane Jr. and Merrell A. Lane. In 1998, Robert Lane, Sr. recognized the need for continuity and hired Gary D. Strassburg and Rosemary E. Messer-Strassburg, a seasoned husband-and-wife team of funeral directors.
