Supporting Independence and Dignity for All
Our Mission and Services
At Causeway Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers, we are dedicated to connecting people with needs to people who care. Our mission is to provide volunteer and community services to the elderly and adults with disabilities, enabling them to maintain independence and dignity. We offer a variety of services, including volunteer support for grocery shopping, running errands, and clearing snow from sidewalks and driveways during winter events. Additionally, we provide respite services through OASIS Respite and support for caregivers through our Peer Caregiver Support Program. Our goal is to ensure that those in need receive the support they require to live fulfilling lives.
Before the After Planning Sessions
We also offer planning sessions called "Before the After, " which are designed to help individuals prepare for the future. These sessions cover topics such as obituary writing, funeral planning, and creating a lasting legacy. The sessions are open to the public and are held quarterly. We encourage everyone to participate and plan ahead to ensure their wishes are respected.
Arts and Sports Buddy Programs
For those who enjoy arts and sports, we have special programs designed to provide companionship and support. Our Arts Buddy program connects individuals with similar interests, while our Sports Buddy program offers companionship for sports enthusiasts. These programs help to reduce loneliness and promote social interaction.
Giving Back
At Causeway, we believe in giving back to the community. We rely on donations to continue our services and are grateful for any contributions that help us in our mission. If you are interested in donating or volunteering, please contact us.
