Wyeth Architects LLC is a Connecticut-based architectural firm with decades of experience in new construction, renovation, and restoration. We design for residential, institutional, educational, entertainment, retail, and commercial clients. Our work has received numerous awards for design excellence.

Our Services

We offer complete architectural services, from design consultation to construction documents and construction administration, as well as specialty services: energy conservation, historic preservation, and help with municipal approval processes.

Our deep interest in sustainable design practices gives us experience with photovoltaics, low-head hydro, wind, passive solar, super insulation, ground source heat pumps, water sourced heat pumps, and alternative energy sources. To make buildings more efficient, we utilize all appropriate techniques and approaches including recycled materials, cradle-to-cradle strategies, and strategic energy conservation and usage. LEED accredited and Passive House Certified professionals are on staff.

Awards and Recognition

We are proud to have received numerous awards for our work, including the 2023 Sustainable Architecture Award of Merit for 6 Maple Street, the 2022 Preservation Connecticut Award of Merit, and the 2022 AIA Connecticut Sustainable Architecture Award of Merit for The Legacy Theatre.

Our team is also proud to be co-founders of Connecticut Passive House and serve on the Board (Leonard Wyeth, President; Sara Holmes, Secretary).

Our Team

Our team consists of highly skilled professionals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional results. Leonard Wyeth, AIA, CPHD, has over 45 years of experience and has worked on numerous projects including new houses, house renovations, restorations, interior design, landscape design, space planning, site planning, campus planning, as well as institutional, corporate, and urban design.

Sara D. Holmes, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, CPHD, is a licensed architect, member of AIA, a LEED AP BD+C, and a PHI Certified Passive House Designer. She has been with Wyeth Architects since 2009 working on numerous residential and institutional projects.
