Our Story
Definitive Brewing was born in 2017 from the shared vision of a group close-knit friends and family members. With deep ties to Lake Cobbosseecontee in Manchester, Maine, we were driven by a desire to create exceptional craft beer and foster a welcoming community around it.
Our name embodies this vision. "Definitive" signifies our unwavering commitment to producing beer that stands out, pioneering innovative flavors while maintaining traditional values. We strive to consistently elevate our offerings, pushing the boundaries and delighting your palate with every sip.
Our Locations
We proudly maintain two welcoming locations in Maine. Our flagship brewery and tasting room in Portland sits in the heart of the city's renowned beer scene, directly beside Allagash. Our second location in Kittery offers easy access for our southern Maine friends and beyond. Both spaces reflect our commitment to creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, where beer lovers can gather and celebrate.
