Our story began in 1977 when Russ Krug, our founder, started with a small operation featuring wood stoves. As the need for alternative heating sources grew, so did our business. By 1978, we had expanded into our first shop, known as "The World of Wood Stoves." The shortage of oil in the late 1970s revolutionized the demand for wood stoves, and we were at the forefront of this movement. Over the years, we've diversified our inventory to include coal, oil, gas, and pellet products, leading to further expansion and the need for additional warehouses.

In 1990, we rebranded ourselves as "Heating World" to reflect the wide variety of products we offered. This change marked a significant milestone in our growth. As our business continued to flourish, we were soon joined by our son Brent in daily operations. The Krug family became a united team, driving the business forward as a dealership and distributor for many full product lines. Our growth led to the addition of a new showroom in 2008, which now covers 5,000 square feet and proudly displays over 100 quality products.

Today, Heating World is recognized regionally as one of the largest dealers in central Pennsylvania. We continue to expand to accommodate the increasing demand for gas products in the region. Our commitment to customer satisfaction remains unwavering, and we strive to ensure that every customer feels valued and supported throughout their journey with us.
