Welcome to All Creatures Animal Clinic, a full-service animal healthcare facility located at 215 Curry Highway in Jasper, Alabama. Our clinic, under the leadership of Dr. Mark Barker, is dedicated to providing compassionate and quality care for our patients and their pet parents. With 40 years of experience in a diverse spectrum of veterinary medicine, Dr. Barker has developed a unique practice style that values both your time and resources.

Dr. Barker graduated from Curry High School in 1977 and attended Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee for his undergraduate studies. He graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine with his DVM in 1984. After completing his education, Dr. Barker began his professional career with one year of pharmaceutical research. He then worked for six years as a small animal and emergency care practitioner.

Dr. Barker worked as a large animal veterinarian for 30 years, completing home visits throughout the north Alabama area. During this time, he also worked as a relief veterinarian, gaining valuable experience in the veterinary industry. His diverse background has given him a rare perspective in the veterinary industry and has enabled him to develop his own unique practice style.

We focus on delivering the best care for your animals in a way that values your time and resources. We also want to help you become the best pet parents that you can be. Whether you have dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, hedgehogs, pocket pets, birds, reptiles, or goats, we can supply the health care services and information that you need.

Our Services

We offer exceptional care to dogs, cats, exotic pets, birds, reptiles, goats, and more. Our services include but are not limited to dental care, digital radiography, heartworm testing, end of life care, in-clinic diagnostics, intensive care, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, wellness, and more. No matter which type of companion you have adopted into your home, we can provide the health care services and information that you need.

Having birds, reptiles, or other exotics as pets is a different experience from raising dogs and cats since their habitats and nutritional needs are unique. Our clinic is equipped with the necessary resources to provide specialized care for these pets. We understand that each pet is unique and requires individualized care, and we are committed to providing the highest quality of care for your pets.
