Our Play-Based Curriculum

Infants and Toddlers

Early Preschool

Preschool and Prekindergarten

Our preschool and prekindergarten programs are designed to prepare children for the transition to elementary school. We offer a comprehensive curriculum that includes science, engineering, art, and math, as well as social studies and language arts. Our teachers work closely with each child to develop individual learning plans that address their unique strengths and needs.

Before and After-School Care

Our before and after-school care program provides a safe and enriching environment for children up to 12 years old. We offer a range of activities, including sports, art, and music, as well as homework help and tutoring.

SEAM Philosophy

At Little Friends Early Learning Center, we believe that children learn best through a holistic approach that integrates knowledge across subject areas. Our SEAM philosophy (science, engineering, art, and math) is a way of providing children with opportunities to learn in various settings. For example, children may engage in science activities to learn about the natural world, engineering activities to learn about structures and systems, art activities to learn about creativity and self-expression, and math activities to learn about patterns and numbers.

Center-Based Learning

Our classrooms are set up to allow children to explore and learn at their own pace through center-based learning. We offer a variety of centers that encourage children to engage in self-directed learning, including an art center, a math center, a block area, a dramatic play center, a science center, and a sensory table.
