About Us
As the owner of The Place Catering, Morris Darey has over 20 years of experience in the food industry. Growing up in Israel as an Orthodox Jewish individual, traditional Jewish cuisines were an integral part of his life. After relocating to San Diego from Boston, Morris recognized the lack of kosher options in the city and decided to take matters into his own hands. He established an all-Glatt kosher supermarket, which eventually evolved into The Place Catering.
Over the years, we've had the privilege of catering to numerous events, including weddings, bar mitzvahs, corporate functions, and more.
