Hendricks Heating & Air Conditioning, a family-owned business since 1930, is dedicated to providing comfort and energy-efficient solutions to the residents of Grand Rapids and its surrounding areas. We have been a part of the community for over nine decades, offering high-quality equipment installed by trained and considerate staff. Our team is fully equipped to service all brands of equipment, ensuring timely and quality service to our customers.

Our History

Hendricks Heating & Air Conditioning was founded by Herman Hendricks in 1930. The company started by installing cast iron furnaces delivered to homes with a horse and wagon. Over the years, the business has been passed down through generations, starting with Herman's niece's husband, Gerald DeVries, who took over in the 1960s. Gerald's sons, John and Paul, joined the business in the mid-1980s and early 1990s, respectively, and became partners in the company. After Paul's retirement in 2010, John's son, Jeff DeVries, stepped in as a partner. Unfortunately, Jeff passed away in 2017, leaving the 4th generation of family members, Travis Faber and Amy DeVries Sequeira, to take over the leadership of the company.
