Our founders, Lisa and Greg Hartwell, established our organization over ten years ago with the mission of helping Bay Area seniors remain at home as they age. With a strong background in senior care, Lisa saw firsthand the powerful impact one person could have on the life of a senior living alone at home. This experience led to the creation of Homecare California, a local, family-owned, non-franchised home care organization dedicated to providing exceptional care to seniors in the Bay Area.
Our Story
Homecare California has been privileged to have touched the lives of thousands of Bay Area seniors and their family members by providing over 160,000 care visits and over 2.8 million hours of care. Our dedicated staff of care managers and caregivers are committed to improving the quality of life of your elderly loved one and providing peace of mind for you and your family. We take pride in our ability to offer flexible care at home, available 24 hours, 7 days a week, to seniors in Santa Clara, San Mateo, Alameda, and Contra Costa Counties.
Our Services
We offer a range of home care services designed to meet the unique needs of each senior we serve. Our services include hourly care, live-in and daily care, overnight care, and medication management for seniors. Additionally, we provide specialized care for seniors with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, cancer, and stroke. Our caregivers are trained to provide companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, mobility assistance, personal care, exercise and recreation, light housekeeping, and transportation services. We understand that every senior is unique, and we tailor our care plans to meet their individual needs and preferences.
