Our Story

Dr. Allen Becvar and Dr. Stacy Becvar met in optometry school and began their journey together in Michigan before moving to Columbia, Missouri. They have three sons and own and operate two office locations, Becvar Optometry in Columbia and Diamond Eyecare in Jefferson City. Our team is dedicated to providing the highest level of service and care to our patients.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of services to cater to the diverse needs of our patients. Our services include adult and pediatric eye exams, diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease and injury, diabetic eye exams, treatment of eye allergies and eye infections, treatment of dry eye syndrome, complete contact lens services including all specialty lens products, bifocal/multifocal contacts, colored contacts available, co-management for laser and cataract surgeries, and frame styling to complement your lifestyle. We also have an in-house lab at our Columbia location, allowing us to make many glasses prescriptions in-house, which is ideal for emergency situations. We welcome outside prescriptions and offer a large selection of frames and lenses to suit individual styles and preferences.
