Groen Construction Inc., is a New Hampshire based premier general contractor servicing commercial clients throughout New England. Design Build

In a design-build project, Groen Construction acts as a single point of contact for an Owner by hiring the architects and engineers necessary to design and build the project as part of our contract. This approach treats the project planning, design, and construction phases as integrated tasks within the construction system. The tasks are assigned to a Design-Build team consisting of the Owner, the Construction Manager, and the Architect/Engineers. We focus on collaboration, efficient use of funding, timely decision-making, and risk mitigation, which offers benefits within both the public and private realms.

Pre-construction

The Pre-Construction phase at Groen Construction offers a wide range of services directed at thoroughly evaluating the needs of our customers and their projects before breaking ground. These services go beyond just estimating what a project will cost. They include everything from an initial client meeting to review plans and concepts, schedules, studies, value engineering, permitting, land acquisition, and more. Pre-construction services are used to help meet a client's vision as well as match their construction budget. During the design process, pre-construction cost estimates are created to help with the owner's decision making.

Construction Management

The Construction Management team acts as consultant to the Owner in the development and design phases and serves as a general contractor during the construction phase. The Construction Management team contracts directly with multiple subcontractors and has single point of responsibility for the delivery of the project. As the construction manager, owners and developers depend on Groen Construction to identify and incorporate value engineering opportunities throughout the construction process and to maintain strict budgets and schedules. We ensure meticulous administration of the project and seamless transition between all phases of design, pre-construction, and construction.
