About Me

Originally from Maryland, I moved to Charlotte in 2002. I graduated from the University of Maryland in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts in Children and Family Studies. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland at Baltimore School of Social Work in 1994. I am a licensed clinical social worker in both North Carolina and South Carolina. I am also a member of the National Association of Social Workers. With many years of experience, I have helped clients navigate issues related to women's issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, and overall adjustment to life transitions.

My Approach

I have been trained in various psychotherapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness techniques, family systems, and couples therapy. I believe in the importance of confidentiality and adhere to the Code of Ethics of the National Association of Social Workers.

Location and Fees

My office is conveniently located near South Park Mall (Phillips Place) at 6809-C Fairview Rd., Charlotte, NC 28210. I currently accept Blue Cross & Blue Shield and collect fees directly from clients. Fees are due at the time of service, and I accept cash, checks, credit cards, HSA cards, Zelle, and Venmo.
