Our Mission

At Active Living Chiropractic, our mission is to help your entire family stay healthy, active, and pain-free through individualized chiropractic care. We are dedicated to promoting health from within through chiropractic, whole food nutrition, and a natural lifestyle.

Dr. Lydia Ogden

Dr. Lydia Ogden graduated cum laude from Logan College of Chiropractic in 2011. She is highly trained and certified in Active Release Technique (ART) and Webster Technique (a prenatal chiropractic technique) with a special interest in treating women and children. As a mother herself, she understands the unique health issues that women face at every stage of life. Dr. Ogden is committed to the well-being of the entire family and believes that healthy children start with healthy moms. She incorporates whole body wellness into her practice and her own life.

Tammy Snyder

Tammy Snyder brings over 18 years of customer service experience to our office. She is married to her high-school sweetheart, Rick Snyder. They have two grown boys, Michael and Carter. Tammy enjoys cooking for her family, trying new recipes, and keeping her family healthy.

Tina Francis, L.M.T.

Tina Francis has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2007. She is licensed by the State Medical Board of Ohio and is a member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals. Tina believes in the power of massage to help the body achieve optimal health. She customizes each session for her patients' needs and comfort levels, reducing pain levels, promoting relaxation, and improving overall well-being.

Adjustments

Chiropractic joint manipulation, or adjusting, is used to release restricted joints of the spine and extremities. Joints often become restricted due to poor muscle activity and/or improper posture. By applying an adjustment to a restricted segment, the joint regains motion, relieves pain, and relaxes overactive muscles. If patients prefer not to hear or feel a "popping" noise, Dr. Ogden has various options for mobilization, which can be just as effective.

Webster Technique and Prenatal Chiropractic

The Webster Technique is a specific prenatal chiropractic technique used to assess the mother's pelvic, sacral, and soft tissue alignment. This technique restores correct movement patterns, allowing mom to experience ease throughout her pregnancy. The purpose of prenatal chiropractic is to support a mother during a time of major physical and physiological change. Dr. Ogden guides the body into optimal balance through gentle adjustments and soft tissue work.

Active Release Technique (ART)

ART is a soft tissue technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and nerves. These problems can cause pain, stiffness, and loss of function. ART is a non-invasive, hands-on technique that can help decrease pain, improve range of motion, and improve overall function.
