Zachary T. Clanahan Architect is an architectural design office based out of the Hamptons. Our expertise is in carefully designed dwellings spanning from East End Traditional, Hamptons' Style, to Modernist and Contemporary. Our work is always deeply influenced by the needs of the client and respectful to context and environment. With over 20 years of experience in residential projects across all scales and budgets, our team has the experience and local knowledge to take your project from idea to reality.

Founder and Principal Architect

Zachary T. Clanahan is a lifelong resident of Southampton Town and is an Architect registered in New York, Hawaii, and New Jersey. He earned his bachelor's in architecture from NYIT in 2006. Decades of architectural experience in the Hamptons provide Zac a deep understanding of traditional shingle-style homes and of tasteful modern designs that complement the unique environment of Eastern Long Island. Zac enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife and daughter.

Our Team

Alicia Clanahan is the Office Manager for ZTCA. She has been managing the clerical, marketing, and financial aspects of the business since its founding over a decade ago. Jeremy L. Delgado is a design professional who has been with Zachary T. Clanahan Architecture since 2016. Jeremy came to the office with previous experience in residential architecture and as a designer for marketing agencies & brands designing interiors, customer experiences, crafting presentation & concept renders, graphic design, and detailing + production design for retail interiors, pop-up shop experiences, live events, and trade shows for Nike, The North Face, Arc'teryx, BMW, and many others.

Innovative and Alternative OWTS Septic Systems

Our office is certified to design Innovative and Alternative On-Site Wastewater Treatment Systems (I/A OWTS). By designing your septic system as an in-house service, we avoid delays and help to streamline the permitting process. We have experience with design compliance for these systems throughout Long Island and also Hawaii.

Visualization

Our team has the experience to help you at every phase of the project to create sketches, illustrations, animations, and photorealistic visualizations customized to your budget to help you make decisions about materials, views, and overall cost and visual impact.
