Our eye doctors will provide you with the most comprehensive eye exam possible using sophisticated high-tech instruments. In addition to assessing your visual needs, our doctors perform a thorough check for sight-threatening diseases such as glaucoma, cataract, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. We can also treat many eye infections such as "pink eye". Do you suffer from stinging or burning eyes? Fluctuating blurry vision? Excess tearing and fatigue? You may have a dry eye condition. We are proud to announce we have opened a dry eye clinic as part of Imperial Beach Optometry.

About Our Practice

Our office was established in 1954 and was joined by Dr. Helfon Hanono in 1979. His son, Dr. Abraham Hanono, came aboard in the spring of 2014. Our goal is to serve our patients by helping them with their general health and providing them with professional and state-of-the-art eye care. We invite you to visit our beautiful frame dispensary and choose from the latest in fashionable eyewear. We have a large selection of designer frames and sunglasses including Kate Spade, D&G, Versace, Tory Burch, Marc Jacobs, Von Zipper, Spy, Silhouette, Prada, Coach, Tiffany, Oakley, RayBan, and the new Tom Ford line which everyone is talking about.

Our Commitment to You

We are committed to providing you with the best possible eye care experience. We offer 1-hour service in most cases, and our lab is on the premises so we can provide glasses in 1 hour on most single vision lenses. We offer a full range of options to meet your eyecare needs. From eye exams and children's vision evaluations, to hard to fit contact lenses and LASIK screenings, we can provide the treatment that is right for you.
