The Architectural Studio was founded in 1968 by James D. Dodds, who has dedicated over 55 years to the design and construction of multi-family residential projects throughout the Southeastern United States. With a strong focus on historical work, including projects on buildings such as the National Archives in Washington, D.C. and the Louisiana State Capitol, Jimmy has established a reputation for architectural excellence and innovation. In 2011, Lance S. Malley joined as a partner, bringing a fresh perspective and expertise in architectural design. Together, Jimmy and Lance have built a team of dedicated employees with a diverse range of valuable experience, fresh ideas, and new approaches. Today, the firm continues to thrive, confident in its strong foundation and committed to growth and development.
