The Cabell-Wayne Association of the Blind (CWAB) was founded on October 9, 1975, with the mission to promote and advocate for the economic, educational, and social welfare of the blind and visually impaired. Our organization is committed to helping individuals maintain a lifestyle comparable to other members of society. We strive to be a model for organizations that assist the blind and visually impaired, offering timely and appropriate responses to their changing needs.

At CWAB, we believe in empowering individuals by providing access to resources, services, and opportunities that enhance their independence.
