At Rumley Financial Services, LLC, we understand the importance of transparency when it comes to fees and costs. We want our clients to fully comprehend the costs associated with our services and the products we offer. Our financial planning services are billed on a project or time basis, with a rate of $250 per hour, billed by the tenth of an hour. This fee structure ensures that our clients pay for the value and time they receive, without hidden charges or additional costs.
Investment products, such as variable annuities and mutual funds, have their fees set by the prospectus, allowing our clients to understand the costs before committing to any product. Asset management/advisory fees are based on a sliding scale and vary based on the amount of assets under management. Households with less than $50,000 under management are charged a maximum of 1.50%. For larger household amounts, we offer lower advisory fees, promoting a more cost-effective and transparent service.
In advisory retirement accounts, we waive the standard IRA/Roth annual maintenance fees, while commission-based retirement accounts incur the standard maintenance fee. We charge a nominal fee of $1.50 for mailing hard copy trade confirmations, and no charge for delivery by email. Life, annuity, and long-term care insurance commissions are built into the cost structure of these products, paid directly by the insurance general agent out of contract premiums.
