Tim's design journey began early, fueled by a dual Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Interior Design from the University of Cincinnati. Actively participating in the university's esteemed co-op program, Tim gained invaluable hands-on experience during his studies, working at a diverse range of firms. From the bustling boutique design studios of New York City to the dynamic mid-size firms of Chicago and the large multi-office architecture firms of Santa Monica, Tim's early career exposed him to a breadth of design styles and methodologies.

This early exposure allowed Tim to develop a strong understanding of the architectural and design landscape, mastering the intricacies of both large-scale commercial projects and intimate residential spaces. From the detailed craftsmanship of single-family homes to the vast scale of 100,000 square foot academic buildings, Tim honed his skills in a variety of settings. He found himself drawn to the collaborative and hands-on nature of smaller firms, where his contributions could directly influence the success of a project. This passion for intimate involvement and client-centric design culminated in the founding of Studio m Architecture + Design.
