Empowering Podiatrists through Education, Advocacy, and Community
The Texas Podiatric Medical Association (TPMA) is a non-profit organization that has been serving the podiatry industry for over 100 years. Founded in 1907, TPMA is dedicated to providing education, advocacy, and industry updates to its members. Our mission is to unite and empower podiatric physicians to deliver excellence in foot and ankle care for all Texans.
Our Services
TPMA offers a wide range of services to its members, including:
Education
TPMA provides continuing education opportunities for podiatric physicians, including conferences, workshops, and online courses. Our educational programs are designed to help members stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in podiatry and to improve their skills and knowledge.
Advocacy
TPMA is the only organization lobbying for podiatrists and their patients at the state level. We serve as a united voice of podiatric medicine to our state legislators and regulators, working to protect and enhance the profession of podiatry in Texas.
Radiology Training Program
TPMA offers an online radiology training program designed to train medical assistants who perform radiological procedures in the podiatric office. This program is designed to better train office staff and reduce costs associated with travel and related expenses.
Annual Conference and Business Meeting
TPMA hosts an annual conference and business meeting, which brings together podiatric physicians and their assistants to develop and improve their podiatric knowledge and competency. Our conference features educational sessions, exhibits, and networking opportunities.
Membership Benefits
Joining TPMA provides a range of benefits, including access to educational programs, advocacy, and industry updates. Members also receive a subscription to our digital magazine and discounts on conference registration and other services.

TPMA is governed by a board of directors, composed of volunteer podiatric physicians who are dedicated to advancing the cause of podiatry in Texas. Our executive director, Neil Campbell, DPM, leads our team and is committed to serving the needs of our members.
