Our Story

Founded by N. Edward Emery in 1987, our firm started as a small accounting practice in the Western Branch area of Chesapeake and Portsmouth. Over the years, we grew to become a trusted advisor to individuals and businesses in the region. In 2012, we sold the practice to F. Mark Robertson, CPA, and in 2014, Ed Emery moved to Williamsburg, Virginia, and established Emery CPA Tax and Accounting, PLLC.
