Dr. Vander Giessen was born and raised in Lynden, Washington, and has been practicing dentistry since 2008. He continues his education regularly to ensure he provides the highest quality of care and is a member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, and the Mount Baker District Dental Society.

Dr. Vander Giessen is married to his high school sweetheart, Amanda, and they have four children together. When he's not working, he enjoys various outdoor activities such as road biking, camping, hiking, running, and skiing. His goal as a dentist is to treat people, not teeth, with empathy and kindness.
