Our story began with John F. Cox, who learned his trade working for Craft Home Improvement of Amityville in the late 1960s. After serving in Vietnam, John returned home and started his own company, Cox Construction, with a mission to provide exceptional construction services to the community. Over the years, we've grown to become a staple in the Sayville area, restoring Victorian-era homes, building new ones, and completing full remodels, home lifting, restaurant work, marina construction, and even a jewelry store.

What sets us apart is our commitment to the community. John, our founder, has gone beyond construction to make a positive impact on the community. He built the performance pavilion in the Common Ground Park, the food pantry at Gillette House, and the Welcome Center for the Sayville Chamber of Commerce.
