Zone 4 Architects is a boutique architecture firm based in Aspen, Colorado, specializing in modern and traditional mountain architecture. Founded in 2001 by Cornell University graduates, Bill Pollock and Dylan Johns, the firm prides itself on the collaborative process between the architect, client, and builder. This approach has led to a diverse portfolio of high-end residential and commercial designs that seamlessly blend style, functionality, and a deep understanding of the local environment.

At the heart of our studio's philosophy is the concept of "stability and style, " embodied by the symbolic meaning of the number 4. This notion is reflected in our designs, which often incorporate elements of the natural world, such as the four seasons, four directions, and four elements.
