Our journey began in the late 1940s when Robert May opened an appliance store called Bob May's Appliance in Aspinwall, PA. The store sold a variety of household appliances and Sherwin-Williams paint. Although the store closed in 1957, Robert's entrepreneurial spirit never faded. He went on to sell air coolers to Eat 'n Park restaurants, which eventually led him to start another business.

In 1966, Robert, along with his son Bob May, founded Bob May Heating. They initially carried Fedders air conditioning products before becoming Lennox dealers. Over the years, the business has evolved and grown. In 2004, Bob's son Quentin joined the company, and the business was renamed to May Heating and Air Conditioning. Today, Quentin continues to be an integral part of the team, ensuring that clients receive the highest level of service. In 2017, Bob's other son Alex joined the company, handling sales and further expanding the business's reach.
