D&K Hunt Electric was founded in 1990 by father and son C.W. Hunt Jr. and Kerry Hunt, both with extensive experience in the electrical field. From a humble beginning as a two-man shop, the company has grown over the last 28 years to employ over 100 people. We have earned a respected reputation in the Lubbock area for delivering high-quality work on time. As one of the last remaining union electrical contractors in the area, we have access to a pool of determined and skilled employees. Our client base includes top General Contractors such as Lee Lewis Construction, Sandia Construction, and Whiting-Turner Construction, among others.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of services, including commercial, industrial, and residential electrical work. For commercial projects, we provide competitive bids for new construction or remodels on various facilities like hospitals, schools, universities, churches, government projects, hotels, and office buildings. Our industrial services cover projects from machine shops to oil field work, leveraging our foremen's extensive experience in the field. For residential clients, we have three service vans ready to tackle any electrical work, from fixing a light to larger remodels.
