Our History

Our story began in the fall of 2011, inspired by a life-changing movie that awakened us to the transformative power of faith and spirituality. We were moved to create a space where individuals could experience genuine healing and lasting change through Christ.

Led by Founder and Executive Director, Dr. Matt, Moriah has grown into a trusted resource for countless individuals and families in the community. We are humbled to witness the remarkable transformations that take place within our clients and are grateful to be a part of their journies.

Our Executive Director

Dr. Matt brings 36 years of expertise as a pastor, counselor, and college/seminary professor to Moriah. He is a Mental Health Informed Biblical Coach/Mentor with a deep understanding of the intersection between faith and mental well-being. Dr. Matt's passion for helping others and his unwavering faith drive him to create a supportive and empowering environment where clients can feel safe and valued.
