Our Story

Dr. Woldorff's journey in the field of optometry began in 1982, when she worked for an optometrist in her hometown of Sacramento, CA. This experience sparked her interest in the impact that good vision has on quality of life, inspiring her to pursue a career in optometry. After graduating from Southern California College of Optometry in 1990, Dr. Woldorff worked in several private practices before opening her own practice in Durham, North Carolina in 2010.

Our comprehensive eye exams are designed to assess the health of your eyes and detect any potential vision problems. We also offer contact lens fittings, including soft lenses, rigid gas permeable lenses, and multifocal lenses. Our full-service optical shop provides fittings for complex prescriptions, and we accept a variety of insurance plans, including Spectera, EyeMed, VSP Vision Care, United Healthcare, Medicare, and Medicaid.
