Dr. Susan Johnson, MS, DVM
Dr. Johnson received her Master's degree in Reproductive Physiology and DVM degree from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine. After working as both a large and small animal veterinarian for 17 years, she bought the Poultney Veterinary Hospital, where her practice is now limited to cats and dogs. She has a special interest in canine reproduction and enjoys working with dedicated dog breeders to maximize fertility. Dr. Johnson is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Vermont Veterinary Medical Association, New Hampshire Veterinary Medical Association, the International Embryo Transfer Society, and the Society for Theriogenology.
Julia Chant, DVM
Julia earned her DVM degree from Ross University in 2003 and has practiced in both general veterinary medicine and acupuncture. She has a special interest in integrative medicine, including the use of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine to treat a variety of conditions. Julia is excited to join the Poultney Veterinary Hospital team and looks forward to providing compassionate care to her patients and their families.
