Her experience encompasses various industries, such as retail, wholesale, manufacturing, transportation, construction, medical services, and other service sectors. Prior to joining the IRS, Ms. Peraza was a valued member of the accounting team at Dow Chemical, a multinational corporation.

Ms. Peraza's tenure with the IRS involved extensive experience in its International Division, where she specialized in handling complex cases involving international tax issues and abusive tax avoidance transactions. She also played a crucial role as a Senior Program Analyst, contributing to the implementation of provisions of the Affordable Care Act within the Large Business and International Division (LB&I).

In recognition of her exceptional skills and contributions, Ms. Peraza was appointed as a Technical Specialist for the Offshore Arrangements Practice Network of LB&I WIIC (Withholding and International Individual Compliance). In this role, she provided crucial training, guidance, and coordination to field agents, equipping them to identify and address complex issues encountered during examinations of individuals engaged in offshore activities.
