Standby Generators Explained

A standby generator is an automatic system that monitors utility voltage 24/7. When there's an electrical outage, the generator detects the problem and goes to work. It safely disconnects the utility line and transfers to backup generator power. Once the outage is over, the generator returns to standby mode and reconnects to the power company.
