Our Attorneys

Travis Smith: A founding partner of Smith & Johnson and the elected Murray County Attorney, Travis has over a decade of experience in the legal field. With a Juris Doctor degree from William Mitchell College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southwest Minnesota State University, Travis has honed his skills in appeals, real estate law, and estate planning. His passion for legal research, writing, and oral advocacy has led him to focus on appeals, successfully arguing numerous cases before the Minnesota Supreme Court.

Kayla Johnson: A founding partner of Smith & Johnson, Kayla M. Johnson is the Assistant Murray County Attorney. With a Juris Doctor degree from Hamline University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hamline University, Kayla has over a decade of experience in the legal field. Her expertise includes real estate law, estate planning, and business law. Kayla is dedicated to providing personalized attention to each client, ensuring they receive exceptional service.
