At Care in the Home, we are dedicated to providing outstanding health services that enable seniors to remain independent in their own homes. Our organization was founded in 1989 by Ruth Friedman as a private duty home caregiver agency. Over the years, we have grown to include skilled Medicare services such as nursing and therapy. Our focus remains on professional expertise and ethics, best practices in delivering care, and a mission to serve our clients as we would our own family.

Organizational Credentials

We are licensed by the Illinois Department of Public Health as a Home Services, Home Nursing, Home Health. We are also accredited by the Joint Commission and approved by Veterans Affairs. Additionally, we have been voted Best of Home Care provider of choice in 2022 and 2023.

Case Consultation and Management

We offer two types of free consultations: Admissions Consultation and Case Manager Assessments. Our admissions consultants are available by phone Monday through Friday from 9 AM until 5 PM to discuss how our services could be helpful. For a more detailed assessment, our clinical case managers are available to meet in the home Monday through Friday between 9 AM and 5 PM. They will conduct a detailed discussion of your condition and needs as well as a physical assessment of your home. Recommendations are offered based on the assessment.
