Mantorville Theatre

The Mantorville Theatre Company is a community-based non-profit organization dedicated to producing high-quality theatrical performances in the historic town of Mantorville, Minnesota. Our mission is to entertain, educate, and enrich the lives of our audience members through a variety of shows, including musicals, melodramas, comedies, and more.

Our History

In 1972, a group of citizens came together to form a corporation with the goal of enhancing the turn-of-the-19th-century nature of the City of Mantorville. This led to the establishment of the Mantorville Theatre Company, which has since become a staple of the community, producing six shows every year.

Our Services

At the Mantorville Theatre Company, we offer a range of services to our audience members, including:

• Ticket Sales: We offer tickets to all of our shows, including our summer melodramas, full-length comedies, dramas, and musicals.
• Auditions: We hold auditions for all of our shows, providing opportunities for local talent to get involved and showcase their skills.
• Volunteer Opportunities: We rely on the support of volunteers to help us with various aspects of our productions, including ushering, set construction, and costuming.
• Contribute: We accept donations from individuals and organizations to help support our mission and continue to produce high-quality shows.

Our Shows

Our summer melodramas are a highlight of our season, with three shows running from June to August. This year, our lineup includes "The Inheritance or Not Dead Yet!", "100% Chance of Deceit (Say it Ain't Crow)", and "Grapes of Woe or Please No Wining". We also produce three additional full-length comedies, dramas, and musicals throughout the year.
