Meet Our Team

Our team is led by Phil Mazziotta, the owner of Daughter for a Day Home Care. Phil is a 45-year resident of Ramsey, an Army veteran, and was awarded an Army Commendation Medal. He has held many positions in finance for companies such as Texaco, General Motors, The Rockefeller Foundation, and IBM. He was Revenue Supervisor to New York's World's Fair. Phil opened The Tax Shoppe, a tax preparation business in Ramsey, seventeen years ago. He is an IRS Enrolled Agent and has been helping many people resolve their State and IRS issues for the past 25 years.

Phil's wife, Sherry Rassekh, is the Executive Director of Daughter for a Day Home Care. Their daughter, Renee, is the office manager. As a family-run business, we understand the importance of personal attention and care, and we are dedicated to providing the best possible service to our clients and their families.
